“WE ARE ONE”, Digital Image, 2021
I was invited to contribute an image around the theme of “Connection” for the 2021 Metro Detroit Fiction Issue. I decided to create a piece that brings together people from different sides of the political divide surrounding the protests of George Floyd’s murder. We may not be united on where to go from here, but it is our shared connection to a history of systemic racism- and how we plan on addressing it- that will pave the way forward.
